Even with Krohn, you should give a chance to completely sprouted sprouts (no seeds left). Your diet is devoid of enzymes, and sprouts pack enough nutrition that you can eat small amounts of them. They also combat bio-film through enzymatic action. (more)

Anyone know of anywhere you can get brief written summaries of popular paleo podcasts? Something with just the essential info, if you dont have the time or inclination to listen to the whole thing? Would such a service be of interest?

I go to my local Stew Leonard's and find a bag of in-house made sweet potato chips. The ingredients read: Fresh sweet potatoes, 100% pie soybean oil and salt. I was craving something crunchy. Is this ok or no?

No problem on the sweet potato chips, but problem on the soy oil.  That makes it fall under the crap-in-a-bag category. Find a different brand. Avoid: soy, corn, "vegetable", canola, cottonseed and other industrial seed oils.

Most bacteria die in the stomach. But some make the trip, specially those imbedded in the kraut. More will make it if the eater has low stomach acidity. They then go on to populate the intestine under favorable conditions.
