I find that things like that are OK in moderation, but keep in mind they are hyper-palatable, so they probably aren't a good idea if you're trying to lean out. Yum, though!

I think it is completely ridiculous that companies are allowed to put an and/or in their ingredients list with regards to oils. What does that even mean? I can't tell you how many labels I read that say olive oil and/or canola oil......palm oil... (more)

They are pretty high in PUFAs so I would avoid them if you have high cholesterol. Once you get your cholesterol in line they aren't that bad for an occasional treat but you would definitely be better off with something homemade.
I'm under the impression that palm kernel oil is better somehow than palm oil but I don't know much about either. Can someone enlighten me about the differences?
