Hey sorry, I should have clarified that! Basically what effects eating Paleo has on PCOS, and the same thing for thyroid-- does it downregulate it, etc.

Well if Paul Jaminet doesn't answer it, it might be better suited for Diane to address: Is it possible that in severe cases of prolonged chronic stress that hormone production and the HPA axis can shut down? Can this system simply be jump started, so to speak, to get it chugging along again? Does he have any specific recommendations for females (other than reducing cortisol through diet/low impact exercise etc) to optimize pregnenolone towards producing DHEA and the other lovely reproductive hormones?

Are we getting enough Thiamine (B1) while eating Paleo? Also, are synthetic forms of Thyamine such as Benfotiamine optimal?

I second to Coconut Bliss's question - would be great to hear an answer from both Paul and Diane!
