Recent paleo convert, can't get enough fat though

I'm a recent convert to the Paleo life style with a fairly active lifestyle (Crossfit, Weightlifting, Running). I'm 33 and I usually one take 1-2 days off a week. My problem has been with my caloric/fat intake. I can't get enough. For instance today I've had 5 eggs cooked in butter, 2 slices of bacon, a serving of chorizo, 4 table spoons of almond butter, 1/2 cup coconut creamer, and a hand full of almonds. And these are just the "fatty" parts of what I've eaten today. There was also some broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, and some chicken. I'm worried that I'm going to take in too much fat or calories in general to lose any of my own fat. Any suggestions/guidance?

Protein and fiber are far better sources of satiety than fat.

I'm new to this, but to me it sounds like you need A LOT of calories. If you are hungry, eat more! If you don't lose weight(or gain, eek) tweak your diet then.

Maybe I should've stated it differently. I'm hungry and no matter how much fat I eat I'm still hungry and I want to make sure I'm not going overboard with my fat intake.

i may be misreading, or may be there is a typo somewhere. as i read it, there are two phrases that seem to contradict each other...

"can't get enough fat..." in the title & "I'm worried that I'm going to take in too much fat..."

I know when I switched to Paleo I felt hungry all the time too. Since fat has more than double the calorie density of protein or carbs you aren't filling your stomach with as much volume. For me it just took a while to adjust.

Honestly 2000 calories is a drop in the bucket for me. I'm about 6 foot 250lbs. Since it's still early days I'm not worrying about calories just yet. I'm just wondering why I'm hungry if the fat is supposed to fill me up?

it seems like you got enough fat. how much are you looking to get? you can eat some coconut oil by the spoon for more.

That's upwards of 2000 calories right there, and you ate more on top of that? Not sure why you need more. How about some carbs? Carbs are not the enemy.
