Firm in one day?

Does anyone else find this about their body while on paleo: If I work out 1-2 days in a row, my body instantly firms up. I'm a 20 year old woman with a strong sports background and I'm curious if anyone else's muscles respond this quickly?

yes. I was working out powerlifting 5x5, then started training for fbi fit test....then started paleo. No exercise and I lost fat and firmed quickly. My muscles seem to recover and build quickly...but structurally I'm "hard". I think high carbs affect that fluid and sugar in muscles...which soften them perhaps. Now your workout "pump" will seem more exaggerated.
