Allergies after going clean eating?

Hi,

I have been having these reactions. Doc hasnt quite got to the bottom of it yet, but I am starting to suspect they are allergic reactions (flushing, itching, chills, dizziness etc) - to foods I used to tolerate. Seems to occur after I eat something processed.

Maybe soy, or something.

Anyone get this after going paleo? Food intolerances or allergies? Whats your worst offenders?

I rarely eat them either. Just like some dark chocolate was one example Ive had in the passed week. Screwed me over.

Yep. I've had pretty bad reactions. Citrus, dairy, nuts, pineapple, new antibiotics...you name it. I finally figured out that leaky gut was my problem and that that was why my body was freaking out. I hope you figure out what's triggering it. Don't rely upon your dr, do your own research. I saw my dr, an allergy specialist, they wanted to send me to a special dermatologist, had blood work done, sigh, then just figured it out for myself based on my own research. I looked at the list of symptoms and saw that I had almost all of them. Thanks a lot doc. Lol. Read read read. That's how I am helping to heal my body.

When I first starting clean eating, it was like my body was melting down. I was having reactions to almost everything. However, after about a month, things started to normalize. I can now eat many things that were giving me problems before. I think my body was just trying to detox all the stuff that it had stored over my lifetime!

If this effect is caused due to food that you are consuming then I guess it is related to food intolerance. The term adverse reaction is used to describe health problems linked to food. It is mostly found that such allergies mentioned above are most frequently linked to milk, soy, eggs, and peanuts. You need to find out the cause of trigger of it.

I don't eat processed foods generally since going Paleo. Most of my allergic reactions have cleared up from clean eating. Obviously you have become sensitive and I suspect it is just a matter of waiting it out for that to pass.
