I have been on and off paleo for about six months. I know it's horrible, but I do not go off too often when I am home. However, I am now studying abroad in the UK and the diet is horrible (no offense). I have been subject to potatoes and rice quite often, and I am very weak at saying no. I also had/have a problem with nighttime overeating.
After a weekend in Italy, and refined carbs EVERYWHERE, I have realized I have gained about 5 pounds in 2 months since being here.
Now I am having family and my boyfriend visiting in 2 weeks. Uh oh. I need to debloat and try and lose some of the weight before they come!
I am doing on day two of two days of a protein diet, mostly 600 cals protein for two days, and then will be strict paleo. Low carb veggies and protein, exercising a lot, but what else can I do to lose the extra bloat? I feel helpless. I have such a hard time losing weight, but so easy gaining.
