I usually eat a hard boiled egg in the morning before a workout. I boil a couple in advance so I can have a quick and easy snack i n the morning. It may work for you!

It's better to eat less frequently than to nibble and graze. Perhaps after eating a breakfast of fat and protein (I hope it's meat) your body is busy digesting and doesn't want any apples right now.
