Hello all, I've been having trouble losing weight lately, I'm 6' 245 pounds( use to be 289 lb.), so I'm at least 45 pounds overweight still. I exercise 3-4 days a week, cross training with a sandbag and suspension training, I eat a strict Primal/Paleo diet with the exception of a cheat here and there, I eat a lot of fat in the form of ghee, butter and coconut oil,and I think that could be sabotaging my weight loss, I would like to know if someone out there has experimented with low-none fat paleo and how does it improve weight loss. Thank you. Love

Calories matter. Low fat-low carb is simply low calorie.

Hey man, a lot of stuff I have read by rob wolf indicates he believes low fat low carb moderate protein is best for already fat people.
I remember him talking about it on his podcast, basically his advice to one question was eat lean meat and veggies. However he also talks about high fat also working, but I think if your holding a good amount of fat, sticking to protein and veggies and lower carb and fat intake might be a possible way to eat.
