Notice how they (typically) say "Not a significant source of protein" on the back even though the gram amount is high? There's something about the actual protein (i.e. amino acids) in pork rinds that your body does not absorb it.

Eat (non-pasteurized) fermented foods, like sauerkraut. You may want to look into making your own so you get all the good bacteria. Or take probiotics. Gut health is absolutely vital.

Since the leptin reset protocol is premised on how 'old' leptin receptors are wired to adapt to light changes, when you wake up in the middle of the night, I would wait to eat your BAB until about 30 minutes after sunrise.
