I saw the other similar topics, but while they provide some solutions, i didn't see many explanations in them. I have been paleo for two months and already lost one sixth of my weight. I have also been doing Leptin Reset for around three... (more)
So, I decided to schedule myself. I work four 10-hour shifts a week and found myself starving by the time I got off work. I am trying to follow Jack Kruse's schedule. Eat within 30 minutes of waking (6:30) and then every six hours with the last... (more)
http://jackkruse.com/so-you-completed-the-leptin-rx-what-is-next/#comments The Quilt has finally given us what we were begging for--a template for how to eat, exercise, think, and live once fully leptin sensitive. I could tweak a few small... (more)
Hi! I have been doing Dr. Kruse's Leptin RX for about a week and a half now and LOVE it! The way it takes away hunger and cravings is a dream come true for me! Thank you Dr. Kruse! My question is about the BAB (which I LOVE!)... A couple other... (more)
Paleo2.0 brought this up as a comment in another question. Is everything that Dr. Kruse has to say about leptin wrong? What has Dr. Kruse said that is correct? Citations would be helpful for many reading here.
I've been experimenting with different breakfast foods while on the leptin reset. According to the nutrition label, pork rinds should be very satiating as they are high in protein and fat. However, I ate half a bag (approximately 30 grams of... (more)
Notice how they (typically) say "Not a significant source of protein" on the back even though the gram amount is high? There's something about the actual protein (i.e. amino acids) in pork rinds that your body does not absorb it.
I don't quite understand what the leptin reset protocol is, who should be doing it and what should be done? Can anyone give a brief overview in laymans terms? I've seen the site but still don't get it!

Eat (non-pasteurized) fermented foods, like sauerkraut. You may want to look into making your own so you get all the good bacteria. Or take probiotics. Gut health is absolutely vital.
So I'm trying to start a leptin reset to fix my crazy hunger swings (i'm 21 and a personal trainer with autoimmunity... not good to have hunger swings lol). Main question is I get really full fast in the morning, i eat maybe 10-15g of protein... (more)
Female, middle 50s, 200 pounds, 5'7". I have fairly severe insomnia. Frankly, it's been a problem since my 30s when I was a young momma. Currently working with my gyno and compounding P\pharmacist to get the right bio cream for me (long process -... (more)
Since the leptin reset protocol is premised on how 'old' leptin receptors are wired to adapt to light changes, when you wake up in the middle of the night, I would wait to eat your BAB until about 30 minutes after sunrise.
I just read this article by dr. Jack Kruse on LR and I'm not sure if I have this. I'm not overweight and I don't crave foods, but I do fast and eat 2 meals a day and when I get to the second one my body just doesn't say stop. If I force myself to... (more)
I'm not sure if I need to follow the leptin reset protocol, but I like experimenting with stuff, plus I never seem to get full, so that might be a leptin signaling issue. Within 20 minutes of waking up, here is the pattern I've fallen into: Pint... (more)
