I am wondering if it is a health ahzard to consume products containing ethanol? I am an abstainer from alchohol in 'significant amounts'(?) and don't drink. Having often popndered the benefits of Royal Jelly and Ginsing and other Supplements I would take them but for the ethanol content written on the label. P.S: what is 'significant' to me is probably not to the average person in this case as I have a history of alcoholism in my family and would prefer to avoid anything to do with it. Would anyone so kindly provide details of the benign or malignant effects of ethanol(which, to my meagre knowledge, is an alcohol or derivative?). I don't want to be drinking (ginsing, roayl jelly, etc.) under the influence.

It seemed addictive to me, even though I've never been a drinker. Hence the question.

a friend of mine who is a recovering alcoholic (prescribed Antabuse) just from using 'Bay Rum' hair tonic on his hair - can't be too careful
