Follow a type 2 diabetes diet that is low in carbs and high in proteins.Try to eat less of starchy foods, that means no potatoes and corn, red meat, processed foods, fried food, sodas and caffeine. Instead try to eat lean meat, fresh fruits and try to get a work out in at least thrice a week.

Adding a bit of seaweed and coconut oil to your diet can be good for both.

Starchy carbs paired with lots of fat and protein. As few fast-release carbs as possible and never on their own.
