I've noticed that most people on paleohacks seem to eat mostly meat vs. mostly fruits and vegetables. I myself have been eating more meat and at first felt great now not so much. I'm wondering if anyone primarily eats vegetables nuts and fruits and some meat. Was your experience good or bad?

Volume wise, I eat about half and half. Perhaps more veg/fruit especially when you count in nuts or fruit.
Calories wise I eat more from the animal products (including dairy and eggs).
Weight wise, its probably slightly more animal. Veges/fruit tend to be less dense.
Seems to work well. TBH i dont really know if I am eating "more" plant products or more animal products. So its probably about the same. But I am definately getting more calories from animal products.
What do you mean by "more". More volume, more weight, more calories?
By volume, if I eat more veggies than meat (say like 65% or 70%) I feel so much better and have tons of energy. Especially if it's the dark green veggies. I can't have more than at though, since if I don't get enough meat and protein I feel like I am starving and just missing something. I won't be satiated at all. A lot of the time though I end up just dividing the plate in half ~ half veggies and half protein.
I eat 90% fruit/veg/nuts, 10% meat, maybe less. Perhaps two meals a week include meat on my plate. I feel great. I eat a lot of eggs (avg 3 per day) and I eat fish pretty regularly, and I'm not afraid of eating plenty of butter and fats.
I went without meat for about a year, and now I feel like I have awareness of when I'm hungry for it, and I'm sure to get meat when my body is asking for it.
I feel like I could eat more meat and it would have marginal extra health benefits, but I choose not to because I'm a tree hugging hippy ;)
By volume my diet is probably 60% non-starchy veggies, 10% starchy veggies, and 30% meat. I would actually eat a higher % veggies because I enjoy them more, but then I wouldn't get in enough calories every day :(
By calories, I don't count exactly, but it's definitely mostly meat, just because veggies barely have any calories and I eat quite fatty meats.
i eat 2-3 pieces of juicy fruit in the morning. lunch is equivilant to 8 cups raw veg but i use my quizenart which downsies it to mush (yum) i add organic mushrm bullion and other seasonings to it AND USUALLY 3 OZ of protien. fish ,chicken whatever i am in the mood for. with water. this is a greatg chunky soup!!! i snack on 6 wegmans ccopops with one cup of salsa oh and a great glass of red dry wine. Dinner 5 days a week is a huge plate of half raw veg and half steamed veg of all diff. colors 2 cups of yogurt made into a yummy dip. evening snack is half cup popcorn in pan with olive oil. makes a good 4-5 cups popped. I add half cup fiber one Yummy oh yea and another glass of red dry wine. I drink only lemon water and lots of it thru the day. I have eaten this way for over 3 years and look great and feel fantastic!
I eat about 30% non starchy vegetables. 30% fruit and 40% meat, it make me feel full and i feel that i have enough nutrition eating this way
I am new to paleo(1 month), so take my answer with a grain of salt. Based on the preponderance of reading I have done on the Paleo/Primal diet, I shoot for 20 grams of protein at any given meal, with a target of 60 grams for the day. After that I eat as many veggies as I am hungry for. I eat fruit and nuts for snacks. The problem is estimating the protein content of various meats. But there are a ton of easily found references to solve that issue.
I eat a green smoothie with almond butter for breakfast, a huge salad with fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and dried fruit for lunch, then usually an omlett with veggies for a snack. I may or may not eat meat for dinner, depending on what I am craving. I feel best on mostly raw fruits and vegetables with some eggs and meat. I let myself have as much of it as a crave, but that is usually not a lot. My body seems to always want and trive off of nuts and seeds though.
I eat a huge salad that has a can of sardines on top. More volume by a mile from the veggies and probably equal calories since I put avocados, olives and olive oil on my salads. I eat meat and steamed veggies and butter for dinner. About 50-50 on the plate, but vastly more calories in the meat and butter compared to the veggies.
