Hi all you primates

I just started my paleo diet as means of getting a better relationship with my body. Im a tall slim dude, and therefore i started working out 3 times a week or every other day, if my busy week allow it.

I have been on the diet the last couple of days, and a can already feel my body reacting to it. I have carb and sugar withdrawal, and i have to go to the toilet a lot more after also starting working out.

Well, here is my question: In the morning im pretty busy (i always get up right before its already to late :) ) and i like to have a good morning routine. This routine so far has developed into making a brekafast of 4 scrambled eggs, about 150 grams of bacon, 2-4 tomatoes and 1-2 avocados.

Is it okay to eat this many eggs a week? I mean 4x7 = 28 eggs

How should i tackle eggs in my diet? Also, how do i combat the hunger i feel, even though i ate a ton of veggies and meat for lunch/dinner?

Sounds like you're off to great start! I enjoy a meal like you mentioned not just for breakfast but ANYTIME! I consume large quantities of eggs an bacon is just delicious. A quick time saver: If you are already peeling and pitting avocados, prepare an extra one to make dressings for your salad. The creamy texture of the avocado makes a fantastic base for dressings.

This will come with time. you are in detox, your body is reacting to a radical change in the types of nutrients that it is used to receiving. For me it took about 3 weeks, some a little longer, some shorter -- The point is that it will end, and you will learn how to listen to your body. I suggest eating when you are hungry, even during detox.

That sounds great actually. My breakfast is very similar. Usually 3 eggs. Scrambled with cheese if I'm eating bacon with them. Without cheese if I'm eating sardines with them. Usually with chard or another green, potatoes if I'm having a high carb day. Often either an apple or avocado, or some full fat Greek yogurt. Even though it is my breakfast since it's the first meal of the day I often eat it more around lunch time.
