Anyone get diarrhea with digestive enzyme supplements?

I started taking Biocore Optimim from NEC a few months ago and my digestion is way better. No more indigestion, acidy feeling in my throats, and I'm GAINING lean muscle. I can feel it working. I take the powder, and quite a bit.

I've noticed that my stools have been very loose and sometimes quite "soft serve". I've always had an angry gut, and it's hit or miss anyway. Paleo has helped.

Magnesium over 400mg/day give me the same loose stools. But I'm holding that at 400mg.

As biocore is expensive and I'm using a lot, I ordered some protease powder from True Nutirion from aspergillus niger (same as in the biocore I think), as I eat a ton of meat.

Last night I tried a bunch on an empty stomach before dinner, just to see how it felt, and then more with dinner.

This morning I shit liquid. Didn't hurt, no cramping, just liquid. Now, I get this often if and when I eat food out, due to god knows what unnatural things food out has in it. But I've not eaten anything different or anything I havnt cooked myself in several days.

Anyone get this effect?

Anything to be done?

The lean gain increase and digestion healing is awesome, don't wanna give that up?

Is there any advantage to getting some enzyme on an empty stomach, or would that exacerbate the diarrhea?

Thanks

Hi! In the label of my multi enzyme jar it says not to take them with an empty stomach, so I've never done that. I've been taking 2 pills right before, or right after my meal, just like it says on the label. But I also noticed the same soft-very loose-effect on the stools. I've been reasearching why could this be, and maybe it's due to taking more enzymes than what we actually need. So now I'm gonna take just 1 pill with every meal. A lot of the best reviews I read on internet, people take just 1 pill... So I'll try that to see If It improves the soft-diahrrea like effect. Remember not to take them on an empty stomach, that is definetely bad ;)
