I never used baking soda and only used vinegar for a very short while. I found that it was enough to "wash" my hair with hot water. You go through the motions of washing, making sure to massage your scalp with the pads of your fingers to loosen up... (more)
So I stopped using shampoo and soap. It has been a week and a half, and I have used baking soda and ACV every 3 days or so (I'm male with medium length, ultra fine hair) to deal with the intense greasy feeling in my hair. That 3rd day I wouldn't... (more)

I figure since you rinse it right off after it's on your skin or hair, it wouldn't be that bad, but idk? What's your take? Are there cheap natural alternatives that won't inhibit dandruff?
Okay so I've been No-Poo for probably 6 months now. A salon washed it once (now I cut my own hair, they wouldn't not wash it) and I've dyed it once. I don't get the CRAZY itchy head I used to, and my dandruff has gone down, but I still do get... (more)
