MCT oil and cholesterol

Are there any studies on MCT oil and cholesterol?

I read that coconut oil might raise cholesterol in some people, but that's because of lauric acid which is not a part of MCT oil.

There are a few studies that don't see any impact. Example:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12353632

I personally don't think it would because it gets burned off so fast.

However, the thing to remember about this is that everyone tends to be unique. You need to keep an eye out for your numbers. Just because everyone else doesn't have a problem doesn't always mean that YOU won't.
