Epsom Salt bath in tap water

With all the benefits of taking epsom salt baths do you think taking them in city tap water is safe? I live in San Francisco where people praise about how clean our public water system is, but it still has flouride, chlorine, etc. Is it still beneficial to take baths in this water?

You can add baking soda to your Epsom salt to buffer your water even more. Here is my Epsom salt bath soak recipe.

I don't know how much fluoride there is, but at 0.6 ppm the chlorine will be buffered by the epsom salts in no time.
