links in notification emails don't work, submitting comments hangs

When a notification is sent, it comes in with an URL that points to either an answer, or a comment.

i.e.

http://paleohacks.com/comments/5xxxxx/view.html or

http://paleohacks.com/answers/5xxxx/view.html

Clicking on such a link does not actually take me to the comment or the answer, rather, it goes to the top of question itself, after which point, I have to search around, clicking on "Show comments" and "Show more comments" if a discussion is deep, or then, clicking on the 2nd page to see if it's on the next page, etc.

It looks like it should work because such links have an anchor tag at the end, such as

http://paleohacks.com/questions/5xxxxx/question-title.html#comment-5xxxxxx

But they don't actually work. Fairly frustrating. Is there any way to fix this?

Also, from time to time, it's not possible to post comments as replies, or even as new comments to a question that has no comments, and yet it's possible to do so on other answers. There seems to be no pattern to this, I press submit, and the button changes from dark blue to a lighter blue, then... nothing.

Just hangs there.

I agree... it would be much nicer if the emailed link jumped to proper location of the answer or the comment as opposed to jumping the location of the question. :(

wrt comments hanging.... my exrperine is they hang when I cut & paste txt. The cut & paste process within PH appears to tag the "paste" with a hidden "sig line". Cutting and pasting to anther app sometimes fixes this problem. Also I belive that the character counter get consfused and thinks the comment is too long. My soltuon is to cut the comment in half and post two comments.
