I'm a woman and I take a combined oral contraceptive pill. Oestrogen and progestogen. Achieving hormonal balance is going to be hard when using these, right? But I can't not use them unless I want a whole clutch of kids! Can't use condoms, I'm... (more)
I know you guys aren't doctors, but there seem to be many people on here that are very knowledgeable about the benefits of Paleo. I'm a 25 year old female at a healthy weight (120 lbs, 5'5") and I believe there's something irregular going on... (more)
I finally decided to go off the pill (been on for the last 5 years, age 20-25) in an attempt to clean up my body. My gyno put me on the pill because of my painful periods, frequent yeast infections and I heard it would calm my mild breakouts.... (more)

Yeah this is the only time I've ever had breakthrough/full blown period in the 5 years I've been on the pill continuously; it has to be the change in diet. No coincidence here :)
