I have been eating Paleo now for around 8 weeks and i've noticed a MASSIVE change in me. At the minute i'd say i'm around 90-95% "clean" paleo. I have so much more energy through the day, I rarely wake up groggy, I rarely get hungry and my abs are even started to show!
However, this weekend I'm at a stag do from Friday-Sunday and obviously my Paleo eating habits are going to go out of the window!
What will be the effects on my body of a 3 day non-paleo binge? As i've become fat adapted, will it affect me much?

I've been able to eat paleo just fine at stag and does being paleo. Will there be nothing there at all or do you mean you'll be just giving up paleo as a personal choice for the weekend? Either way not eating paleo for a couple days won't make a huge impact in the long run as long as you're reasonable. My bet is that if you've gotten used to eating clean then your body will likely feel like crud.
Personally, feeling like death the day after eating crap food in the past has just reinforced my desire to eat clean and stay paleo. I'm sure you'll notice a difference too.
Youll probably gain 3-5lbs of water weight due to indulging and depending on how much you drink will be nursing a wicked hangover and feeling a little crappy for a couple days afterwards. But hey! its a stag party.. wtf gotta live a lil! So minimize the crappiness by staying extra hydrated ..drink lots of water in between the booze, and try your best to eat the paleo-est of fare. There should be at least some kinda meats/veggies available at this shindig. Have fun :P
When I stray I go back to eat 3 to 5 days worth of giant spinach salads for lunch and that seems to re-adjust me. But the biggest effect I see is that I crave sugar stuff and grain stuff. Its very like having a cigarette after quitting 5 years ago. The old brain pattern thinks it needs that and makes you pay with a couple of says craving. Thats what happens with me anyway.
If you are healthy and happy with you new diet, then I'd doubt a three day binge will change much. On the other hand, be mindful (as best you can) when you cheat.
Effects will vary among individuals. If you started eating paleo to cure one or more autoimmune diseases, it could get ugly. If you're luckie, maybe it doesn't matter much. Might as well bring along some activated charcoal just in case.
i had a 3 day thing over xmas where i ate leftovers. i didn't notice any ill effects surprisingly and i have ulcerative colitis. i was actually a little constipated which is always great with me.
just eat your favorites and don't eat stuff just because it's there.
The results can vary. You might have more resistance to bad food because of gut healing. Or you might have a more jolting reaction to the allergens due to having them cleared from your system now. Smacking your system with raw sugars can have varying effects depending on whether your paleo eating is masking some glucose intolerance or not.
Ate ziti and broccoli in garlic butter parmesan sauce for lunch today. Feel a bit bloated and sleepy, but otherwise fine. Gluten is not kind to me, but it only seems to really affect me if I eat it often and regularly. Every once in a while is no biggie. (Okay, update. I was also very slightly nauseated about an hour after this post. Still not a huge deal. It was yummy.)
I've been paleo for 1.5 years now and it is definitely difficult to go back to the old way. I went to BJ's (pizza/bar) and had 3 slices just for the heck of it and dang... I was incapacitated for the remainder of the day. I felt bloated and sick.
